Themed collections of AI-generated images for the apps and sites you build. Each collection is one topic in one consistent style. Your app, or the AI agent building it, pulls a collection’s images through a simple API with your key.
Who is it for?
People building apps, often with an AI coding agent, who want pictures that fit what the app is about instead of grey placeholders or stock photos that clash with the design.
How does my AI agent use it?
Copy the brief from your dashboard and paste it into your agent. It explains the API and already has your collection filled in, so the agent can fetch the images, their alt text and sizes, and loop through them in your app.
What if the collection I need isn’t there?
Request it from the Request a collection page or your dashboard; Pro keys can also request through the API. Requests and searches that found nothing are counted, and the most-wanted topics are made first. You see your request’s status on your dashboard.
Plans and limits
How much does it cost?
Free gives you one collection of your choice (you can switch once a month) and 100 API requests a month. Pro is $5 a month for every collection, search, topic requests and 10,000 requests a month.
What counts as a request?
Each call to the API counts as one request. One call returns every image in a collection, so most apps need very few.
What happens when I reach my limit?
Your key pauses, and so do the image links it returned, until allowances reset on the 1st of the month (UTC). Upgrade to Pro and it works again within a minute. Usage is counted once a day, so a key can run up to a day over before it pauses.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, from Billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then move back to Free.
Using the images
Can I use the images for client work?
Yes. You may use them in any app or site you build, including for clients. You may not resell them as images, add them to another image library or serve them through your own API.
Are the images AI-generated?
All of them. Every image is made in MediaSets’ own pipeline and checked before it goes live. No stock or scraped photos are served.
Can I put the image links straight into my pages?
Yes. The links the API returns have no key in them, so they can go straight into an img tag. Keep the key itself on your server and call the API from there, never from browser code.
Can I get smaller images?
Every image link takes a size. Add ?w=300&format=webp for a grid card or ?w=96&h=96&fit=cover for an avatar, up to 1024 pixels wide. Small sizes load in a few kilobytes.
